Book Synopsis: We are intrepid travelers—by land, air, and sea. We are pursuing our bucket list goal of visiting 100 countries and territories, so that we can join the Travelers’ Century Club (TCC). During a 5-day trip covered in this book, we visited 5 countries. Our first stop is on an island split into two countries: St. Maarten (the Dutch side) and St. Martin (the French side). St. Maarten served as the location of our “base camp” during this trip. The three closest neighboring islands to St. Martin and St. Maarten are Anguilla, St. Barthélemy (aka St. Barts), and Saba. These islands (or countries) are close enough for day-trips.
